WHY WORK WITH ASPIRE?

Meaningful work, support every step of the way.

Bring your ABA experience to a team that supports your work, respects your availability, and cares about the families you serve.

Hours that work with your life

Tell us when you’re available and how far you’re comfortable travelling. We’ll look for families that fit, helping you build a regular schedule around school, another role, or life outside work.

Put your experience to work

Earn additional income doing work you already know and care about. Whether you want a few extra sessions or a larger part-time caseload, we’ll talk about what you’re looking for and build from there.

Clinical guidance you can count on

Your RBA develops each child’s behaviour plan and supports you in putting it into practice. You’ll have someone to ask questions, work through challenges with, and turn to for clinical direction.

Build relationships that matter

Work with children and families over time, getting to know their strengths, interests, and routines. Help children practise skills that support greater independence in their everyday lives.

A team behind the day-to-day

Your Case Manager is there to help you get settled and work through everyday questions. Your Scheduling Manager supports scheduling and admin, with digital tools keeping your notes and communication organized.

Keep growing as a therapist

Build on the experience you bring through mentorship, constructive feedback, and collaboration with your care team. Develop your skills while contributing your own observations and ideas.

QUESTIONS FOR THERAPISTS

Clear answers before you apply.

How much ABA experience do I need?
We’re looking for Instructor Therapists who already have hands-on ABA experience, typically at least one to two years in a centre, in-home setting, or both.

You’ll receive plenty of support and mentorship at Aspire, but this opportunity is for people who already have a foundation in delivering ABA therapy. If you’re completely new to ABA, this won’t be the right fit just yet.
Who will be on my care team?
You’ll have a team you can turn to for different kinds of support:
  • Your Case Manager helps you get settled, answers day-to-day questions, and is someone you can lean on throughout your work with Aspire.
  • Your Scheduling Manager helps with scheduling and session-related admin.
  • Your Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) develops the behaviour plan and provides clinical guidance, supervision, and support with implementation.
Some children also work with more than one Instructor Therapist, so you may collaborate with another IT on the same care team.
When can I work?
Our greatest need is for after-school and evening availability, generally between 4:00 and 8:30 p.m., as well as availability on weekends. If those times fit around your school schedule, another role, or other commitments, you could be a great fit.

You share the times you can consistently offer, and we look for families whose schedules line up with yours.
Can I work mornings or daytime hours?
Yes! We also have families looking for morning and daytime sessions. Most of our demand is after school and in the evenings, but daytime-only availability is still welcome. Let us know your schedule when you apply.
Where do sessions take place?
Most sessions take place in the family’s home, with some activities taking place in the community. You’ll travel to the families you support, and we match you with families based on your location and the driving range you share with us upfront.
Is there a minimum weekly commitment?
We generally look for at least four hours of availability per week, and we don’t typically build caseloads smaller than that. Beyond that, there’s no fixed number of hours you need to take on. Tell us when you’re available and how much you’d like to work, and we’ll match you accordingly.
What happens after I apply?
Our hiring team reviews your experience, location, and availability. If those line up with what we’re looking for, someone from our team will call you to get to know you, talk through the logistics, and hear what you’re looking for.

If it feels like a good fit on both sides, we’ll arrange a clinical interview to explore your experience and skills in more detail, answer your questions, and discuss next steps.
